First Aid

First Aid

First aid means the help which can be given to a wounded person before he is sent to the hospital. A person, usually, becomes pale and cold due to shock after an accident even if he did not get a big injury. We must try to keep him warm by a blanket and by giving a hot drink. We should not move the patient if broken bones are suspected. If bleeding is too much, try to stop it by placing a clean pad of cloth firmly over the wound. If the wound is small, wash it with water and soap and bandages but not too tightly.

For burns and scalds, cover the place with a clean cloth and do not put any ointment on it, if someone has taken poison, try to make him sick. If he has taken some acid or liquid he should not be made sick, rush him to a hospital. A victim with dog-bite should be treated as an injured person. If someone has been eaten by a snake, you should try to take him to a doctor. If a person has drowned in water try to make him breathe by laying his head down so that water from his lungs can come out. Whenever there is an accident, call a person quickly by telephoning for an ambulance; keep the injured person clean and warm. Give him; plenty of fresh air. Do not stand in the way of a hospital.

Effective Leadership

Effective Leadership

Leadership is the capacity of a company's management to set and complete challenging goals, take swift and decisive action, outperform the competition, and motivate others to perform well. An Effective leader is a personality with a passion for a cause that is larger than they are. Someone with a dream and a vision that will better society, or at least, some portion of it. Also, without passion, a leader will not make the necessary daring and difficult decisions and carry them into action. This is not to suggest that all choices are of this nature. But you can be sure, some of them will be. The leader without an enthusiasm for a cause will duck.

Effective Leadership

Holder of Values

Leadership indicates values. A leader must have values that are life-giving to the community. It is the only kind of leadership we need. This then also indicates values that are embedded in respect for others. Respect means  that one can deal with diversity - a critical need for a leader in today’s world - apparently always has been, although variety may have been more complex in the homogeneous societies of the past.

Vision

This is a little different than passion, but in other ways, it isn’t detachable. If one doesn’t care about a subject, an issue, a system, then one won’t spend the time remembering about how it could or should be different. The vision then is based on two components that leaders also need: creativity and mental drive.

Intellectual and Knowledge

I believe a leader has to be a student. In general, it is hard for a manager to be around enough other leaders to choose this up just through discussion, so I think a leader has to be a reader and an apprentice. Besides, I can’t see someone leading in a field they know nothing about.

Confidence and abasement

While one can have a great vision and great ideas for change, and even enthusiasm for it, if one isn’t sure, then action will not occur. Without action, there is no change. The leader is concentrated on the ends and doesn’t have to see herself always as the main or inventor of the scenario to get to that end.

Communicator

None of the above resource will work for a manager if she can’t speak or write in a way to persuade others that they should follow along, join the team, get on provisions. All the above gets to the old maxim that a leader knows how to do the right thing and a supervisor knows how to do things right. But a leader has to be a supervisor, too. I don’t think these skills and capabilities can be distributed out very easily. Both need to be in the mix.

So, these are some conceptual details about Effective Leadership and also their features that are helpful for our future. HR training in Chandigarh work out on all accounting concepts which is used in human resource management. You can learn all these stuff by taking HR Training in Chandigarh. The manager should immediately identify all grievances and must take appropriate steps to reduce the causes of such grievances so that the employees remain loyal and committed to their work. Useful grievance management is an essential part of staff management. The managers should use the following approach to manage grievance completely-

- Acknowledging grievance- The manager must recognize the grievance put forward by the employee as the indication of true and real feelings of the employees. Acknowledgment by the manager indicates that the manager is eager to look into the complaint impartially and without any preference. This will create a contributory work environment with examples of grievance reduced.

- Gathering facts- The managers should find appropriate and enough facts explaining the grievance nature. A record of such facts must be maintained so that these can be used in the later stage of grievance redressal.

- Considering the causes of grievance- The actual cause of grievance should be known. Accordingly, corrective actions should be taken to prevent the repetition of the grievance.

- Decisions- After identifying the causes of grievance, an alternative course of actions should be thought of to handle the grievance. The effect of each course of action on the existing and future management policies and procedure should be examined and accordingly, a decision should be taken by the manager.

- Execution and report- The manager should execute the decision quickly, neglecting the fact, that it may or may not hurt the employees involved. After completing the decision, a follow-up must be there to ensure that the grievance has been resolved completely and adequately.
